The final price when it comes to office clearance will depend on important factors like the weight of the rubbish, how long it will take to load it, the area of collection, and even the collection date. Our prices start from £240+VAT for the removals and the weight will be calculated based on the weight of disposed of items.

We can either use your local disposal center or our closest one in Feltham, which is near our storage depot. Most recycling centers charge a minimum of £50 for the first 200 kg of rubbish and it can go to £200 for 1 tonne of office clearance.

How big are your removal vehicles?

We have different size removal vans and lorries. Our smallest van has a total size of 300 c.ft. It is ideal for 1 bedroom property or moving just a few items locally. Our Luton vans are 650 c.ft sizes and they are ideal for 1 or 2 bedrooms properties. We also have XXL Maximovers, which have a total loading volume of 900 c.ft. You have probably seen them around Chelsea. These moving trucks are suitable for 3-5 person offices or 2 to 3-bedroom properties. The biggest size vehicle we have is a 12T lorry, which is the size of 2 Vans. It is ideal for big house moves or long distances.

To avoid mistakes and especially to avoid underestimating the volume, contact us to discuss what you need help moving. We offer on-site or video surveys which are best for bigger properties. Once we have an inventory list we will advise you which size vehicle is needed and if you will need a second or a third.

When considering the size of the vehicle, parking is important too. Moving office is difficult, and finding parking is even more difficult. Be aware a Luton-size van will require a minimum of 2 parking spaces. Our 12T will require 3 spaces. If your move is too big we always recommend splitting in 2 or 3 days. One-day packing and moving are typically when the move is small and there are not a lot of items to be packed.

Is your moving services fully insured?

We are fully covered to transport your belongings for up to £50,000 by our Goods in Transit insurance. In case you have an item that cost £10,000 or more, we can increase our insurance to £100,000 or £200,000 for a small fee.

How do I pay Movivan?

Our payment policy is very simple. If you want to use our moving services, we require a deposit to secure a moving slot. Once a deposit is paid we will send you our acceptance form and deposit receipt. The remaining balance is required to be paid before offloading your belongings at the new address. You can pay by bank transfer, credit/debit card, or cash.

Alternatively, you can also pay the full amount upfront via bank transfer.

What if I postpone or cancel my office move?

If you have already booked our moving services, with our booking confirmation you have received our Terms and conditions. Inside our T&Cs you will find all information needed regarding postponing or canceling your move. You can find our T&Cs also here. In short, if you need to postpone your move and you give us enough time, we will most likely be able to change your office move to the new desired date.

Canceling your relocation is almost the same. As you have probably paid the deposit already if you give us more than 10 days notice we will refund your money back. If you give us less than 10 days’ notice, you will need to refer to our T&Cs as there will be different charges depending on how short the notice is.

Do you take furniture for disposal?

Movivan Removals offer small office office disposal service too. We can take your unwanted items to the local recycling center. Be aware the disposal center will charge a fee for every 100 kg. Most recycling centers also charge separately when disposing of mattresses and other specific items, so it is worth giving them a call about what you can take to the center and what not.

Am I responsible for the parking?

Do you empty the filing cabinets?

If you have heavy filing cabinets, bookcases, and heavy chests we would need them to be emptied and packed for the move. Our office removals men can also pack the documents into removal boxes or crates. To summarize moving furniture empty or not will depend on the weight and if there is a risk of damaging the furniture if not empty.

Can I use my own moving boxes?

Yes, you can absolutely use your own moving boxes or containers. You can buy them online, or from a local shop. The most important part when buying boxes is to make sure they are minimum double-walled and sturdy enough as they will be placed on top of each other inside our removal trucks. Once you start packing the boxes, try to make them no heavier than 20 kg. Place small heavy items like books in smaller boxes. Linen and clothes can go in bigger boxes. Do not forget to label all boxes, as our London movers will use them as guidance.
